Experience

  • Represented a multi-brand hospitality operator before national courts in complex trademark infringement proceedings, protecting the client’s brand and commercial position;
  • Assisted leading market participants throughout trademark registration procedures before Oficiul de Stat pentru Invenții și Mărci (OSIM) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), including trademark clearance, preparation and filing of applications, responding to office actions, and managing the registration process through to grant;
  • Assisted major Turkish investors in the acquisition of multiple renewable energy projects (including solar and wind assets), providing comprehensive legal due diligence and transaction support, as well as representation in obtaining clearance from the national Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) screening commission;
  • Assisted an investment fund on the acquisition of agricultural land portfolios totaling approximately 200 hectares, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiation of transfer documentation, and completion of closing formalities.
