Ruxandra Ronea is a Senior Associate with Popescu Roman Radu Florea & Associates.

She advises clients on real estate, corporate, competition, and renewable energy matters, including photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Her practice focuses on complex M&A transactions and strategic investments in Romania.

Experience

• Performed comprehensive due diligence reports for photovoltaic park projects, including the assessment of corporate, real estate, and energy-related documentation. She also drafted foreign direct investment (FDI) notifications and transaction documents for the related deals.
• Assisted a major Polish investment fund with the due diligence process in connection with its acquisition of an 80% stake in the parent company of one of the largest flight ticket aggregators operating on the Romanian market.
• Provided corporate and legal assistance to water users’ organizations for irrigation, supporting the implementation of projects financed by European funds. She coordinated activities among nine organizations, managed correspondence with clients and EU funding consultants, participated in members’ meetings, and prepared meeting minutes and related legal documentation to ensure compliance with project and governance requirements.
